Terms & Conditions
Last updated: March 2026
1. Who We Are
Thriving Divergent is operated jointly by Jane Hehir and Orla Fitzmaurice. By purchasing a place on our course or joining our community, you are entering into an agreement with us under these terms.
For any queries relating to these terms, please contact us at info@thrivingdivergent.com.
2. The Course and Community
Our CBT for Adult ADHD course is an 8-week, psychotherapist-led programme delivered live via Zoom. It is educational and skills-based in nature. It is not therapy, and participation in the course does not constitute a therapeutic or clinical relationship with Jane Hehir or Thriving Divergent.
On purchase of a course place, you will also receive lifetime access to the Thriving Divergent community on Heartbeat, including access to all future updates to the course content.
We reserve the right to update, improve, or amend course content at any time. This is something we do routinely and is included in your purchase as a benefit.
3. Eligibility
The course is open to adults aged 18 and over. By purchasing a place, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
The course is designed for adults who identify with the ADHD experience. A formal diagnosis is not required to participate.
4. Payment
Course fees are as listed on the sales page at the time of booking. We offer a single payment option and an instalment plan of two payments. Both options grant the same access and benefits.
All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
Where an instalment plan is chosen, both payments are required in full. Failure to complete the second payment may result in access to the course and community being suspended until payment is received.
5. Refund and Transfer Policy
We want you to feel confident booking your place. Our policy is as follows:
- If you request a cancellation more than 7 days before the course start date, we will issue a full refund with no questions asked.
- If you request a cancellation within 7 days of the course start date but before the first session, we are happy to transfer your place to a future cohort at no extra charge.
- Once the course has begun, we are unable to offer refunds as course content will have been accessed. If you are unable to continue due to exceptional circumstances, please contact us at orla@thrivingdivergent.com and we will do our best to find a fair solution.
- To request a refund or transfer, please contact Orla at orla@thrivingdivergent.com.
6. Cancellation or Postponement by Thriving Divergent
A minimum of 10 participants is required to run each session. If this threshold is not reached, we reserve the right to cancel that session and offer enrolled participants a place on an alternative session running in the same cohort, or a full refund if neither available session is suitable.
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel or postpone a cohort entirely, we will notify all enrolled participants as soon as possible. In the case of cancellation, a full refund will be issued. In the case of postponement, you will be offered a place on the rescheduled cohort or a full refund if the new date does not suit you.
We are not liable for any costs incurred by participants as a result of a cancellation or postponement, including travel, accommodation, or time taken off work.
7. Recordings and Replays
Our sessions are recorded and produce two separate replays, handled as follows:
- The main content replay is made available to all Thriving Divergent community members so that everyone has access to the most current version of the course material. No participant video or audio is included in this replay.
- The group discussion replay is shared exclusively with the enrolled cohort for that course run. It includes participant video and audio. Participants are notified verbally at the start of each discussion segment that recording is in progress.
- If you do not wish to appear in the discussion replay, you are welcome to turn off your camera and mute your audio during the discussion section.
All raw recordings are permanently deleted once the relevant replay edit is complete. Replays are hosted securely on Adilo. Please see our Privacy Policy for more details on how we manage recordings and replays.
8. Intellectual Property
All course content, including session slides, workbooks, session notes, recordings, and written materials, is the intellectual property of Thriving Divergent. All rights are reserved.
As a participant, you are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to access and use course materials for your own private use only. You may not share, reproduce, distribute, sell, or otherwise use course materials for any commercial or public purpose without our prior written consent.
This includes sharing recordings, slides, or session notes outside the community, whether in full or in part.
9. Community Access and Conduct
Access to the Thriving Divergent community on Heartbeat is subject to our Community Code of Conduct, which forms part of these terms by reference. You will be asked to agree to the Code of Conduct as part of your onboarding.
We reserve the right to suspend or remove any member from the community whose behaviour is in breach of the Code of Conduct or who acts in a way that is harmful to other members or to the community as a whole. In serious cases, removal may occur without prior warning. No refund will be issued in the event of removal for misconduct.
10. Limitation of Liability
The CBT for Adult ADHD course is an educational programme. It is not a substitute for individual therapy, medical treatment, psychiatric care, or any other professional clinical service.
Nothing shared in the course or community by Jane Hehir, Orla Fitzmaurice, or any other participant constitutes professional medical, psychological, or legal advice. Participants are responsible for their own decisions and wellbeing.
To the fullest extent permitted by Irish law, Thriving Divergent, Jane Hehir, and Orla Fitzmaurice shall not be liable for any loss, harm, or damage arising from participation in the course or community, reliance on course content, or any interaction with other community members.
If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact your GP, a mental health professional, or a crisis service such as Samaritans Ireland on 116 123.
11. Privacy
Your personal data is collected and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By purchasing a course place or joining the community, you confirm that you have read and agree to our Privacy Policy.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising from these terms or your participation in the course or community shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Where changes are material, we will notify participants via the Heartbeat community or by email. Continued participation in the course or community after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
14. Contact
